Lady Naga Vindaloo

Without Boom's Lady Naga Vindaloo Curry Kit

If you don't have our kit you will need the following:

    • 1 Naga Chilli - you can buy these dried from most large supermarkets.

    Prep for the curry

    • 1 Lady Naga Vindaloo Kit or home prepped elements
    • 3 tbsp of veg oil
    • 2/3 large chicken breasts
    • Garlic clove
    • 1 banana, chopped
    • 1 tbl spoon of vinegar
    • 1/4 tsp of black pepper or 10 twists of your grinder
    • Small handful of fresh coriander (optional)
    • 2 handfuls of fresh spinach (optional)
    • Something to serve it with (rice/naan/chapati)

    Method

    1. Dilute Boom Base™ with 300ml of boiling water and stir. Chuck in the Boom Naga Chilli 🌶️ and leave for at least 15 mins to ensure the full power of Lady Naga is unleashed. We also recommend slicing her lengthways but use a knife & fork or gloves, avoid contact with skin - world of pain.

    2. Crack open a large cold beer 🍺 (you're gonna need it!) and prep the ingredients as follows:
      • Cut 2 large chicken breasts into bite-sized chunks.
      • Crush 1 garlic clove.

    3. Add 3 tbsp veg oil to a deep frying pan or wok and turn the heat on the hob to medium/high
      • Add the chicken and fry until sealed.
      • Add garlic and fry for a minute.
      • Take the pan off the heat and stir in Boom Spice Mix.
      • Return the pan to heat, add 1 tbsp tomato puree, 2 tbsp of water and fry for a few seconds.

    4. Pour in the Boom Base™ and Boom Naga Chilli 🌶️
      • Add chopped banana
      • Add 1/4 tsp salt.
      • Dash of black pepper.
      • 1 tbsp vinegar.

Now continue cooking until your creation has reduced down to a nice thick sauce and looks The Bomb!

Tip: for  "Lady Naga Banana Sagwala", add a couple of big handfuls of spinach a minute before turning off the heat.

Turn off the heat and stir in 2 tbsp chopped coriander and the chopped banana before serving with rice/naan/chapati. Boom. 💥
